In Loving Memory, Wayne Jimmy Wagar

HELLO FELLOW COLLECTORS. IT IS WITH REGRET THAT I ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF WAYNE WAGAR, THE FOUNDER OF THIS WEB-PAGE. WAYNE LOST HIS BATTLE WITH CANCER. HOWEVER, HE WANTED THE WEBSITE TO CONTINUE AND SO IT IS WITH GREAT PRIDE THAT I AM ABLE TO DO THIS. WAYNE WAS AN AMAZING ENTHUSIASTIC COLLECTOR AND BROUGHT OUR COMMUNITY CLOSER TOGETHER WITH THIS WEBPAGE AND WITH OUR LOCAL MEETINGS. HE WAS THE GLUE THAT HELD US TOGETHER. A MORE DETAILED SECTION WILL BE PRESENTED SOON ABOUT WAYNE. IN THE MEANTIME, I SHALL DO MY BEST TO GET EVERYTHING UPDATED IN A SPEEDY FASHION! PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT WAYNE THROUGH THIS SITE IN RECENT MONTHS HE MAY NOT HAVE GOT BACK TO YOU. ALSO NOTE THAT A NEW EMAIL ADDRESS IS OFFERED BELOW IN ORDER TO CONTACT MYSELF – Jack Whittles.

  1. Somewhere there’s a proud smile on Wayne’s friendly face.
Let me know how I can be of assistance to evolve this website.
I suspect this will be the website that is sorely needed in the collector community.
Bravo for stepping up Jack and Chris and others who are pitching in.
    You are greatly appreciated!
    Cheers,
    Bjorn.

  2. It’s been more than a year since Wayne passed, we sure miss him. Thanks to Jack and Chris for all their hard work and support to keep Wayne’s passion going through the website. It has a terrific new format, something for every collector. See you all in the New Year. As Wayne says:
    “Be there or be square!”
